2 1/4	c	Flour -- unsifted
1	ts	Baking soda
1	c	Butter or oleo -- softened
1/4	c	Granulated sugar
3/4	c	Light brown sugar -- firmly
		Packed
1	ts	Vanilla
1		(4 oz.) pkg. Jello brand
		Chocolate flavor
2		Eggs
1		(12 oz.) pkg. chocolate
		Chips
1	c	Nuts -- chopped

Mix flour with baking soda. Combine sugars, butter, vanilla and pudding mix in large bowl. Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Then stir in chips and nuts (batter will be stiff). Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen.
